Own slaughtering: our guarantee of freshness!

We have made this our guiding principle. The slaughter house was renovated and fully renewed in the year 2013 and we received the EU licence for slaughtering, manufacturing and processing. We fulfilled all requirements and now possess the DE BY 30598 EG certification to demonstrate that we fulfil the highest possible standards in the areas of slaughtering, butchering, manufacturing and hygiene. Our master butcher Martin Röhrl has worked for us since 1984 and has been master butcher since 1992. At Butz butchery, both in the slaughtering and every other manufacturing step in the processing chain, we ensure that the highest quality is achieved:

  • through selected slaughter animals from locally resident farmers we are personally acquainted with
  • by slaughtering in a stress-free way as much as possible and avoiding hectic for the animals
